Who has heard this statement before
“God’s Time is the Best”?
As true as it can be, many folks have hidden under it and laziness is chopping their lives like a toddler, on her mother’s breast.
How can you be at age 40 after graduation having no job, doing no volunteerism somewhere to gain employability skills and saying every day like a song that “God’s time is the best”.
your mates are out in the streets hustling to earn a living and you’re there fighting with your junior ones for food, bed space, Car sits…etc in your parent house and condemning everyone and beating your innocent siblings and confessing “God’s time is the best”…
Please, this post is not intended to offend anybody so, take no offends but rather be challenge to take make an effort in the direction of your dreams…
John Kennedy once said and I agreed with him ” Do not ask yourself what your country have done for you but rather ask yourself what are the things you have done for your family, your neighbourhood, your community and your country”. (Paraphrase).
Get this very clear…
There is a very close relationship between Hard work and God’s Favour…
It is my believe that God doesn’tt favour lazy folks….
From my 3 decades and 2 years of experience with God, I have never seen God Favour upon a lazy man. (I may be wrong).
Joseph, Daniel, David, Esther, Mordechai, Paul, among others are top figures in the history of Christianity who were highly favoured by the Lord due to their hard work and commitment.
Like in the context of my country, do not say Godlove Njisong, Javnyuy Joybert, Teke Samuel Nyako Humphrey Kencho Desmond et al are favoured but also see the number of hours they put on their works (dreams every day) and the sleepless nights …
most of my meetings with these figures are always within the early morning hours (1-4 am) because within the day is it quite hard to track them for any important discussion…
they would also testimony that hard work and Favour are like a Cake and icing on it.
While Hard work is the Cake itself, the icing on it is Favour.
So my fellow African brothers and sisters, let us wake up and be the change we want to see.
